Description
This 4 days Morocco desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga dunes & Zagora will make you explore the majestic Morocco Sahara desert in 4 days to follow the paths of the old caravan roads while driving past Draa Valley with its oases dotted with dates palm trees and fortified Kasbahs.
DAY 1
MARRAKECH – ZAGORA
Early departure from Marrakesh, drive via the high Atlas Mountains, crossing Tishka pass, visit Ait Benhaddou Kasbah After lunch, drive through Ait Saleen mountains, Draa valley, oasis and kasbahs to Zagora desert, 1 hour and a half camel riding to your camp by the sunset. Dinner, campfire and local music free time enjoying desert atmosphere, overnight stay in your tent.
DAY 2
ZAGORA – BOUMALNE DADES
Early wake up for sunrise, after breakfast, camel ride back to the car then drive to Boumalne Dades via Ouarzazate word of cinema, Skoura, the valley of roses Kelaat Megouna, Dades Gorge, Dinner & Overnight stay in a hotel in Boumalne Dades.
DAY 3
BOUMALNE DADES - MERZOUGA
After breakfast, drive to discover Todgha gorge. Reaching Merzouga desert via Erfoud and Rissani city, 1h30 Camels ride to your traditional camp. After dinner, gather around campfire, traditional local music under the bright stars, then free time walking in the sand dunes. Overnight stay in your tent
Day 4
MERZOUGA DESERT - MARRAKECH
Early wake up for sunrise is recommended. After breakfast, drive back to Marrakech.
